The Port has three harbours viz., outer harbour, inner harbour and the fishing harbour. The outer harbour with a water spread of 200 hectares has 6 berths and the inner harbour with a water spread of 100 hectares has 18 berths. Bestowed with natural deep water basins, the outer harbour is capable of accommodating 150,000 DWT vessels and draft upto 17 meters. The inner harbour is capable of accommodating vessels upto 230 meters LOA and draft upto 11 meters.

Central Warehousing Corporation

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a schedule ‘A” Mini Ratna PSU and an ISO 9001%2000 & 14001%2004 Organisation was set up in March 1957 with the enactment of Agricultural Produce (Development and Warehousing) Corporations Act, 1956, which was subsequently repealed and replaced by the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962. The main objective of the CWC is to provide scientific storage facilities for agricultural inputs & produce and other notified commodities. Paradid Port Trust

Paradip is one of the Major Ports of India and late Sri Biju Patnaik, the then Chief Minister of Orissa, is the founder father of Paradip Port. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the Port on 3rd January 1962 near the Confluence of river Mahanadi and Bay of Bengal. Government of India took over the management of the Port from the Government of Orissa on 1st June 1965. INS "INVESTIGATOR" had the privilege of maiden berthing in the Port on the 12th March, 1966. The Port was declared open by Mr. Peter Stambolic, Prime Minister of Yugoslavia on the same day. The Indian Coastal Conference Shipping Association

ICC was formed in 1951 by 13 leading Indian shipping companies as a platform to facilitate and grow the Indian coastal shipping trade. For almost 6 decades now, the ICC continues to be the representative body for the Indian coastal shipping industry.
